Mitigating acne

Every one at some stage or the other develops acne and the best course of action is not to pay any attention to it. In girls it occurs a bit earlier than boys. Generally, in girls it occurs before they are fifteen and in boys after fifteen. It develops gradually and goes away on its own gradually.

Though more than 90 per cent of teenagers face the problem of acme but in most of the cases it doesn’t last more then two-three years and is not severe. About 15 per cent of youngsters face its severe form and have lots of reddish spots.

Acne is limited to various parts of face but in some cases it spreads up to shoulders, chest and back also. To prevent acne it must be borne in mind that any tinkering with acne will make it last a little more. If one wants to use any over the counter medicine it should be oil free, else it may lead to skin-related problems.

As it is a natural phenomenon it cannot be prevented but proper care of the skin and some precautions can help to reduce it. Precautions can help to make them subside. Acne prevention include regular meals, no processed food, no oily and heavy snacks and not much sugar and meat.

Finally, one should drink a lot of water. It always helps your body, acne or no acne. In case of acne drinking a lot of water accelerates its cycle and later ensures a smooth shining skin.
